Shallow Grave

This animated short represents an early collaborative effort. In order to create a cohesive picture, the crew had to maximize efficiency and communication skills to not only keep continuity between shots, but also maintain a schedule and keep to the allotted times for each area of production.
A single concept was decided on by the group, and further refined upon during the pre-production stage. As crew members had specific aptitudes applicable to the production, divvying tasks was a simple operation before moving forward into production.
Concept art, modeling, set dressing, texturing, and rigging were all readily completed before blocking and animation could begin. We were able to get plenty of work done independently based on the direction of the storyboards. Collaborative time was spent reviewing work and brainstorming solutions to any technical problems faced.
With rendering and a rough cut in place sound design was tackled soon after and we had a more polished piece ready for exhibition.
