Frankenstein Photo Colorization

This colorization was made as a tribute to the classic Universal Frankenstein Monster, as portrayed by Boris Karloff. The original image is a promotional photograph from the set of Bride of Frankenstein (photographer unknown).
The inspiration behind the color choices were a painting done by American artist Rolf Armstrong, which was done on set of the film. Contrary to popular belief, the original Frankenstein Monster was not green, and it’s believed that Rolf’s painting more accurately portrays the original blue-tinged makeup.
